I am always here.
even though you think I have gone,
for I will never leave you.
the essence of me, my spirit,
lives on in you and around you.
The body you loved, the body you hugged.
That was only a shell that housed my spirit.
Don’t be sad that the shell has broken and slipped away.
Remember the happy days,
the good days when I was here.
These days and memories are with you always.
I am with you always for my spirit will never leave you.
I am with you as you wake and as you sleep.
I watch you grow and will continue to do so.
I will be with you for every celebration
and every event in your life.
Remember me when you smell a certain flower or perfume.
Remember to say ‘hello’
For I am always with you.
